CASE HISTORIES

This dog was picked up wearing a metal collar, which she had probably worn since a puppy.

She had grown, the collar had not.

The wounds healed and she was placed in a permenant, caring home in Germany.

Long haired dogs are often picked up with badly matted coats, like these two.

They were both placed in permanent, caring homes in Germany.

This road traffic accident victim had to wait 24 hours before an animal lover made a 'phone call asking for help.

She was put to sleep to save further suffering.

During and after the hunting season, many dogs are picked up in appalling condition. This Podenco, on the left, and the pointer, on the right, were two such cases.

They have both been found permanent, caring homes

A sterilised feral cat.

Note the point of the left ear has been tipped. This is an international standard to show that the cat has been sterilised, thus avoiding catching the same animal twice.

Some of the lucky ones.
